His practice focuses on complex civil and business litigation with a specialty in construction and property damage. He has represented architects, engineers, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, material suppliers, and all other related trades involved in the design and completion of construction projects throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Williams has also represented homeowners in construction defect, breach of contract and lien disputes.
A native of Melbourne, Florida, Brett has spent his entire career in Central Florida including as a partner at one of the preeminent construction firms in the state. Obtained a summary judgment on behalf of a window subcontractor being sued by national developer for breach of contract, indemnity and construction defects. Final Judgment was entered on behalf of client on all counts based on statute of limitations defense.
Represented a property developer against two separate adversary proceedings brought while the developer was re-organizing via Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This defense led to favorable settlements on behalf of client, who was able to complete the reorganization.

Successfully planned and executed a "Squeeze-Out Merger" to combat an activist minority shareholder in a Central Florida real estate company. Minority shareholder had filed direct and derivative actions against corporate client. Merger led to a favorable settlement for client.
Mounted a successful defense of homeowners against a fraudulent lien filed by a contractor who performed work at their Home after a tornado.
Brett successfully represented two professional boxers in their struggle to escape an abusive representation agreement with their manager. The boxers got out of their contract owing no money.
